M.S.B is the first battle of it's kind to hit Gloucester; a street dance styles battle where dancers from across the UK and Europe come to compete and test their skills in different disciplines of Street Dance Styles. All done to live music spun by internationally renowned DJs, DJ Fayme and DJ Dbo - bringing you good quality music from a number of genres. With live dancing, live music and an infectious atmosphere that can only be experienced at battle. With the addition of 6 international battle guests, £900 in cash prizes to be won and workshops in dance, deejaying, emceeing, beatboxing and graffiti - this will be the biggest MSB to date.
Gloucester Music Festival

The 2019 Gloucester Music Festival will run from Thursday 13th June to Sunday 23rd June. Ten days of world-class music events, in beautiful venues across the city. This year’s Festival is our fourth outing, and will be our biggest yet.
There will be, amongst other events: musical yoga, lunchtime recitals, buskers, community singing, jazz, rock bands, a Jacques Brel tribute group, opera, Schubert, and much more
Gaia at Llanthony Secunda Priory
Friday 28th - Sunday 30th June
Experience the majesty of our planet as Luke Jerram’s Gaia, a vast 7m diameter sculpture of the world created using detailed NASA imagery of the Earth’s surface, goes on display within the Tithe Barn. A special surround sound composition by BAFTA award winning composer Dan Jones will echo through the trees.

Plus watch out for their very special Cinema Saturday, showing a selection of space themed films over the summer for adults and kids alike!
Thursday 4th - Sunday 7th July
Transforming Eastgate Street Multi Storey Car Park into a festival of music, dance and performance. Featuring the best up-and-coming Gloucester artists and established performers like Multi-Story Orchestra and Still House’s Session - dance and live music combining hip-hop, contemporary folk and afro-beats - more acts to be announced.
Saturday 13th July
Gloucester Carnival is a fabulous, free and vibrant procession which parades through the city centre each year. The procession encompasses extravagant floats and incredible entertainers, the procession begins in Westgate Street and makes its way through the city centre before finishing in Gloucester Park. Previous themes have included Animals and World In Motion. This year's theme is Myths & Legends.
Sibling Distillery Art in the City

Art In The City returns in 2019 to connect professional and amateur artists and communities to enhance the wellbeing of people in the city, though art exhibitions, installations, competitions, including the return of the successful Plein Air competition and much more.
Gloucester Quays Food Festival
Friday 26th - Sunday 28th July
2019 sees the return of the much loved Gloucester Quays Food Festival. Enjoy chef demonstrations, live music & fantastic food across the 3-day event.
Saturday 27th July
Come along to Gloucester Park for a fireworks display. The annual spectacle that is brought to you by the minds behind the London 2012 Olympics fireworks. Music, entertainment, food and drink will be on hand from 7pm to get the party started, before the display at 9.50pm.
King's Jam Festival
Saturday 10th - Sunday 11th August
Featuring some of the UK’s latest, most talked-about and respected urban acts such as WSTRN, Young T & Bugsey, Stylo G and Tiffany Calver, it will also showcase local artists and other headliners very soon.
King’s Jam is a celebration of hip hop and urban culture. Highlighting Gloucester’s talent in music, dance and art together internationally and nationally renowned. The event will also encourage local and national audiences alike to support emerging local talent.
Kings Jam is a community-run, community-owned event, which happens with the help and support of: The Music Works for programming and funding in collaboration with Your Next Move, and funding from Arts Council England, Gloucester City Council, and Paul Hamlyn Foundation as part of the Gloucester Roundhouse Exchange.
Gloucester Goes Retro
Saturday 24th August
Over 300 classic vehicles will fill the historic streets of Gloucester City Centre and the Docks where you will find famous names from yesteryear such as Aston Martin, Jensen, Bentley, Triumph, Morris and Alvis to name just a few.
There are time-honoured cars from the turn of the last century through to the War Years, the Roaring Twenties, the gleaming chrome of the fifties, the iconic designs of the Swinging Sixties and classic sports cars from the eighties.
For music and dance enthusiasts, visit the stage in King’s Square where you can enjoy vintage entertainment and dancing.
